Chasing star Kachina or planet Kahina represents the stars or planets spirit, also a symbol of the stars, planets and the heavens above. Hopi believed that this Kachina has the superpower to devastating weathers, control the stars and planets’ movements in the sky. His force can be lifting the fallen stars and returning back to the twinkling sky.

Life has never been easy to live in high-altitude semi-arid lands. The kachina spirits guide the tribes to live in harmony and in an indirect yet efficient way. The messengers enhance communication with supernatural beings, clarify misunderstandings among the villagers, solidify trust within the society and develop education for the next generation. The core function, also an essential value, is to help the villagers find their indigenous identities. With thanks to the renowned artist and Hermès, Pueblo culture was introduced worldwide in the form of fashion and preserved dearly as a result.

One of the Winter Garden’s functions was to protect the precious plants and citrus fruit trees in the cold season, such as the tasty yet delicate orange trees and pineapple shrubs.
